Original hand carved and cast Condor Pendant Necklace in sterling silver by artist and designer Paxton Mobley (Please Note: This is a larger sized pendant (one of the listing images shows the pendant's size).

• This original handcrafted sterling silver condor pendant condor necklace is sold by itself or with a genuine black leather 3mm cord with sterling silver end caps and lobster clasp. All our cast pendants, including this sterling silver California Condor pendant, are created from original hand carved designs by Paxton and come hand signed by the artist.

• MATERIAL:
Pendants are cast in solid sterling silver and the leather cord is genuine leather with sterling silver ends.

• SIZE:
Approx. 2" wide x .75" tall, (please see listing images for a size photo), bail opening is approx. 4.7mm (3/16") for fixed bail and 4mm (11/64") for swinging bail.

• BAIL SIZE:
The pendant's bail opening that the cord or chain fits through is approx. 4.7mm (3/16") for the fixed bail and 4mm (11/64") for swinging bail. If you are purchasing this pendant to fit on your own necklace please take note of the bail size and be sure it will fit or let us know if you need it altered (we can always make a custom larger sized bail).

• INDIVIDUALLY HANDMADE:
All our sterling silver jewelry is individually handcrafted once an order is placed. Each piece starts out as a wax injection which is refined and cast into sterling silver by Paxton and then silversmithed and finished by his talented wife Marne. All pieces come hand signed by Paxton.

• ABOUT the CONDOR:
"Condors are very large, broad-winged soaring birds. The adult plumage is uniformly black, except for a frill of white feathers nearly surrounding the base of the neck, which are meticulously kept clean by the bird. As an adaptation for hygiene, the condor's head and neck have few feathers, which exposes the skin to the sterilizing effects of dehydration and solar ultraviolet light at high altitudes. The head is much flattened above. In the male, it is crowned with a caruncle or comb, while the skin of the neck lies in folds, forming a wattle. The head and neck skin can flush noticeably in response to the emotional state and transmitted between individuals. In Andean condors, specifically males, there is typically an extra group of skin, much like that of a turkey. Alternatively, Andean condors often have a white feather collar at the base of their head. Most California condors are without an extra plumage and display a longer neck than that of the Andean. California condors are North America's largest flying land birds and skin on the neck varies in color, depending on the age of the birds. During the breeding season, adult birds' skin color can be cream, pink, yellow, or orange. Most commonly, Andean tend to utilize white or black skin tones, while the California condor leans towards pink." Your item is packaged in an attractive gift box along with a black velvet storage bag, a zip lock bag with anti-tarnish strip, an about the artist / caring for your jewelry information card and a silver polishing cloth.

• RETURNS / EXCHANGES:
We accept returns or exchanges within 14 days. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges associated with returns or exchanges.
Please note that there will be a $3.95 restocking fee on all returned items.

• SHIPPING:
We always try to have orders finished and shipped out within 2-4 business days. On occasion we are out of town or traveling to trade shows and orders take longer to ship (you can look at the top of our website to see if we have added a banner that we are out of town).

• USA DOMESTIC SHIPPING:
We offer Free Standard Shipping within the USA (USPS First Class Mail with Tracking and Insurance)
You will also have the option to upgrade to a faster Mail Service during check out for an extra fee.

• INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
Items shipped out of the country are shipped Regular USPS First Class Mail with Insurance but very limited tracking (more of a delivery confirmation). ***Please be aware that Regular USPS First Class International Mail is the slowest method of shipping we offer and could take from 2 to 4 weeks to arrive depending on your location and your country's customs' department policies.

***PLEASE NOTE: International customers are responsible for all Customs' Charges their package may incur when entering their country. Etsy does collect certain taxes for orders placed by customers from some international countries while it becomes the customer's responsibility to pay these fees upon deliver for other countries.
